On Tuesday, May 14, 2019, Dr Ayako Suzuki (Ph. D), Associate Professor from the College of Humanities, Department of English Education, Tamagawa University, gave a special lecture on “ELT Policies in Japanese Formal Education and Possibilities for ELF.” Opening remarks were given by Dr Masaki Oda (Ph. D), Professor and Director of the Center for English as a Lingua Franca, Tamagawa University.
